Privacy policy
This page describes how AnnSaarthi handles farmer information. A deploying department should replace it with the notice approved by its legal team before going live.
01What we collect
Your name, mobile number, village and district, farmer registration ID, the crops you declare, your bookings, the produce recorded at the centre and the status of your payment. We do not store your bank password, card details or any OTP.
02Why we collect it
To schedule your slot, place you correctly in the queue, record procurement against your registration and route your payment. Aggregated and de-identified figures are used to plan centre capacity.
03Who can see it
Centre staff see the details needed to serve you on the day. Administrators see aggregated figures and can open an individual record when investigating a complaint. Every such access is written to an audit log.
04How long we keep it
Procurement and payment records are retained for the period required under state procurement rules. Queue and waiting-time telemetry is retained in aggregate and de-identified after the season closes.
05Messages you receive
Slot reminders, queue alerts, procurement updates and payment confirmations are sent over SMS and in-app notification. You can turn any category off in Profile → Notification preferences. Critical procurement-day alerts remain on.
06Your choices
You can correct your profile at any time, ask for a copy of your procurement history, or ask a grievance officer to review a record. Contact support with your farmer ID to begin.
07Security
Access is role-based and every privileged action is logged. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Never share your OTP — no AnnSaarthi official or centre staff member will ask for it.
